At Sandcastles we feel it is important that the children in our care learn about the world around them. For this reason we encourage the rooms to get outside and go for walks around the local ponds and to the local parks. The children enjoy going on trips to the park to visit and feed the ducks or to go on the slides and swings. |

Leslie Hill Farm Our Afterschool children became pirates for the day and headed across to Leslie Hill Farm where they took part in a Pirate adventure day. They found treasure galore hidden around the estate and their reward was a picnic with Captain Smelly Feet. Captain Smelly Feet made them walk the plank, and colour in pirate masks as well as getting them to take part in a march to round up more pirates. The pirates also got to check out all the different animals that live at Leslie Hill including one day old chicks, wallabies and a donkey called Rosie!!
